1. Machine Introduction

Spinner hanger shot blasting machine is typically designed to handle mixed loads of medium and large components, which often include fragile and sensitive parts that cannot be tumbled in bulk loads. Mayflay Spinner hanger shot blasting machines are ideal for heavy and complex shaped workpieces. Parts can weight from 1 kg to 3,000 kg or more, manufactured in smaller and medium series.

Treated objects are hanged individually or in a cluster on the revolving hook and transported to the shot blasting machine via I, Y or circular closed loop conveyor. Revolving of treated objects in a jet of abrasive provides efficient treatment of the parts surface.

The blasting machine's chamber is protected by wear-resistant manganese steel or entirely made of manganese steel and additional protections of the most wear exposed areas. High efficiency of the shot spinner hanger shot blasting machine is provided by the automatic and continuous abrasive handling and reclamation system for continued returning and cleaning of the shot blasting media, along with efficient blasting wheels made from wear-resistant materials.

The workpieces are transported manually on rotating hooks or automatically on an overhead rail system into the blast cabinet. The blast cycle runs in accordance with the preset programme and blast time. To achieve complete coverage, the workpiece carrying hooks rotate and stop automatically at two different points in the blast cabinet. This rotation and oscillation process means that even highly complex workpieces, with hard to reach surfaces, can be safely and accurately treated.
